Mario Kleiner 61a02729f7 egl/x11: Handle both depth 30 formats for eglCreateImage(). (v4)
We need to distinguish if the backing storage of a pixmap
is XRGB2101010 or XBGR2101010, as different gpu hw supports
different formats. NVidia hw prefers XBGR, whereas AMD and
Intel are happy with XRGB.

Use the red channel mask of the first depth 30 visual of
the x-screen to distinguish which hw format to choose.

This fixes desktop composition of color depth 30 windows
when the X11 compositor uses EGL.

v2: Switch from using the visual of the root window to simply
using the first depth 30 visual for the x-screen, as testing
shows that each driver only exports either xrgb ordering or
xbgr ordering for the channel masks of its depth 30 visuals,
so this should be unambiguous and avoid trouble if X ever
supports depth 30 pixmaps on screens with a non-depth 30 root
window visual. This per Michels suggestion.

v3: No change to v2, but spent some time testing this more on
AMD hw, with my software hacked up to intentionally choose
    pixel formats/visual with the non-preferred xBGR2101010
ordering on the ati-ddx, also with a standard non-OpenGL
X-Window with depth 30 visual, to make sure that things show
up properly with the right colors on the screen when going
through EGL+OpenGL based compositing on KDE-5. Iow. to confirm
that my explanation to the v2 patch on the mailing list of why
it should work and the actual practice agree (or possibly that
i am good at fooling myself during testing ;).

v4: Drop the local `red_mask` and just `return visual->red_mask`/
`return 0`, as suggested by Eric Engestrom.

Rebased onto current master, to take the cleanup via the new
    function dri2_format_for_depth() into account.

egl/android: #ifdef out flink name support
Maintaining both flink names and prime fd support which are provided by
2 different gralloc implementations is problematic because we have a
dependency on a specific gralloc implementation header.

This mostly disables the dependency on the gralloc implementation and
headers. The dependency on GRALLOC_MODULE_PERFORM_GET_DRM_FD remains for
now, but the definition is added locally to remove the header
dependency.

drm_gralloc support can be enabled by setting
BOARD_USES_DRM_GRALLOC=true in BoardConfig.mk.

Daniel Stone ff5432dc50 egl/wayland: Always use in-tree wayland-egl-backend.h
A recent patchset to Wayland[0] migrated Mesa's libwayland-egl backend
into Wayland itself, so implementations could provide backends. Mesa
still uses its own, and the two have already diverged[1].

The include from egl_dri2.h could pick up either the installed Wayland
wayland-egl-backend.h (with a 'driver_private' member), or the Mesa
internal wayland-egl-backend.h (with a 'private' member), failing the
build in the first instance.

Add an explicit directory prefix to the include, so we always get our
in-tree version.

Zhongmin Wu 13c23b19d0 egl: Allow creation of per surface out fence
Add plumbing to allow creation of per display surface out fence.

Currently enabled only on android, since the system expects a valid
fd in ANativeWindow::{queue,cancel}Buffer. We pass a fd of -1 with
which native applications such as flatland fail. The patch enables
explicit sync on android and fixes one of the functional issue for
apps or buffer consumers which depend upon fence and its timestamp.

v2: a) Also implement the fence in cancelBuffer.
    b) The last sync fence is stored in drawable object
       rather than brw context.
    c) format clear.

v3: a) Save the last fence fd in DRI Context object.
    b) Return the last fence if the batch buffer is empty and
nothing to be flushed when _intel_batchbuffer_flush_fence
    c) Add the new interface in vbtl to set the retrieve fence

v3.1 a) close fd in the new vbtl interface on none Android platform

v4: a) The last fence is saved in brw context.
    b) The retrieve fd is for all the platform but not just Android
    c) Add a uniform dri2 interface to initialize the surface.

v4.1: a) make some changes of variable name.
      b) the patch is broken into two patches.

v4.2: a) Add a deinit interface for surface to clear the out fence

v5: a) Add enable_out_fence to init, platform sets it true or
       false
    b) Change get fd to update fd and check for fence

v6: a) Heading and commit description updated
    b) enable_out_fence is set only if fence is supported
    c) Review comments on function names
    d) Test with standalone patch, resolves the bug

v6.1: Check for old display fence reverted

Gwan-gyeong Mun 640b6e607c egl: deduplicate allocations of local buffer over each platform backend (v2)
platform_drm, platform_wayland and platform_android have similiar local buffer
allocation routines. For deduplicating, it unifies dri2_egl_surface's
local buffer allocation routines. And it polishes inconsistent indentations.

Note that as dri2_wl_get_buffers_with_format() have not make a __DRI_BUFFER_BACK_LEFT
attachment buffer for local_buffers, new helper function, dri2_egl_surface_free_local_buffers(),
will drop the __DRI_BUFFER_BACK_LEFT check.
So if other platforms use new helper functions, we have to ensure not to make
__DRI_BUFFER_BACK_LEFT attachment buffer for local_buffers.

v2: Fixes from Emil's review:
   a) Make local_buffers variable, dri2_egl_surface_alloc_local_buffer() and
      dri2_egl_surface_free_local_buffers() unconditionally.
   b) Preserve the original codeflow for error_path and normal_path.
   c) Add note on commit messages for dropping of __DRI_BUFFER_BACK_LEFT check.
   c) Rollback the unrelated whitespace changes.
   d) Add a missing blank line.

does create its own screen and attempts to reinvent the later two
functions itself.

Since the GBM ones tend to get out of sync quite often, and there is no
distinct reason why it does so we'll drop them with latter commits.

Emil Velikov 3e73c0245b egl: split out a dri2_display_destroy() helper
Within dri2_display_release() we already tear down all the display
specifics. Within the platform specific dri initialize however we badly
and partially duplicate that.

Let's stop that by fleshing out the required functionality into a helper
and using it throughout the codebase.

Daniel Stone 03dd9a88b0 egl/wayland: Use per-surface event queues
During display initialisation, we need a separate event queue to handle
the registry events, which is correctly handled. But we also need
separate per-surface event queues to handle swapchain-related events,
such as surface frame events and buffer release events. This avoids two
surfaces from the same EGLDisplay, both current on separate threads,
dispatching each other's events.

Create separate per-surface event queues, create wl_surface and wl_drm
proxy wrapper objects per surface, so we eliminate the race around
sending events to the wrong queue. swrast buffers do not need a
dedicated proxy wrapper, as the wl_shm_pool used to create the
wl_buffers, being transient, can itself be assigned to a queue.

Jonas Ådahl 36b9976e1f egl/wayland: Avoid race conditions when on non-main thread
When EGL is used on some other thread than the thread that drives the
main wl_display queue, the Wayland EGL dri2 implementation is
vulnerable to a race condition related to display round trips and global
object advertisements.

The race that may happen is that after after a proxy is created, but
before the queue is set, events meant to be emitted via the yet to be
set queue may already have been queued on the wrong queue.

In order to make it possible to avoid this race, wayland 1.11
introduced new API that allows creating a proxy wrapper that may be used
as the factory proxy when creating new proxies via Wayland requests. The
queue of a proxy wrapper can be changed without effecting what queue
events emitted by the actual proxy will be queued on, while still
effecting what default queue proxies created from it will have.

By introducing a wl_display proxy wrapper and using this when performing
round trips (via wl_display_sync()) and retrieving the global objects (via
wl_display_get_registry()), the mentioned race condition is avoided.

Liu Zhiquan b663753f3b EGL/android: pbuffer implementation
Android path didn't support pbuffer, so add pbuffer support to fix
most failing dEQP and CTS pbuffer test cases.

Patch adds a single buffer config to support pbuffer, and creates
image in getBuffers for pbuffer when surface type is front surface.

The EGL 1.5 spec states that pbuffers have a back buffer but no front
buffer, single-buffered surfaces with no front buffer confuse Mesa;
so we deviate from the spec, following the precedent of Mesa's EGL
X11 platform.
