While the official INTEL_swap_event specification says that the drawable
field should contain the GLXDrawable, not the Drawable, the existing
DRI2 code in dri2.c that translates from DRI2_BufferSwapComplete sends out
GLX_BufferSwapComplete with the Drawable's ID, so existing codebases
like Clutter/Cogl rely on getting the Drawable.
Match DRI2's error here and stuff the event with the X Drawable, not
the GLX drawable.
This fixes apps seeing wrong drawables through an indirect GLX context
or with DRI3, which uses the GLX_BufferSwapComplete event directly on
the wire instead of translates Present in mesa.
At the same time, also modify the structure for the event to make sure
that clients don't make the same mistake. This is not an API or ABI
break, as GLXDrawable and Drawable are both typedefs for XID.

With commit e59fa4c46c8("dri2: release texture image.") we updated the
extension without bumping the version number. The patch itself added an
interface required to enable texture_from_pixmap on certain platforms.
The new code was effectively never build, as it depended on
__DRI_TEX_BUFFER_VERSION >= 3, which never came to be in upstream mesa.
This commit bumps the version number, drops the __DRI_TEX_BUFFER_VERSION
checks and resolves all the build conflicts. Additionally it add a version
check as egl and dri3, as require version 2 of the extension which does
not have the releaseTexBuffer hook.

The spec incorrectly used void as return type, when it should have
been GLboolean. This has now been fixed. According to Nvidia, their
implementation always used GLboolean.

This has been wrong for many years. It was originally 0x000FFFFF and long
ago there was discussion about whether GL_ALL_ATTRIB_BITS should include
the then-new GL_MULTISAMPLE_BIT bit. Eventually the ARB decided that
glPushAttrib(GL_ALL_ATTRIB_BITS) should save all current and future
attribute groups (hence ~0). Unfortunately, Mesa's gl.h was never updated.
This was just recently spotted by Eric Anholt and reported as a bug to the
ARB. Ian, Jon Leech and I discussed it at the ARB meeting and decided to
change Mesa's value to reflect the ARB's decision.

The __DRIimage createImageFromFds function takes a fourcc code, but there was
no fourcc code that match __DRI_IMAGE_FORMAT_SARGB8. This adds a define for
that format, adds a translation in DRI3 from __DRI_IMAGE_FORMAT_SARGB8 to
__DRI_IMAGE_FOURCC_SARGB8888 and then adds translations *back* to
__IMAGE_FORMAT_SARGB8 in both the i915 and i965 drivers.
I'll refrain from comments on whether I think having two separate sets of
format defines in dri_interface.h is a good idea or not...

According to belak51 on IRC, this commit broke Allegro, which would no
longer compile. Applications apparently expect the GLXContextID typedef
to exist in glx.h; removing it breaks them. A bit of searching around
the internet revealed other complaints since upgrading to Mesa 10.

This patches add MESA_copy_sub_buffer support to the dri sw loader and
then to gallium state tracker, llvmpipe, softpipe and other bits.
It reuses the dri1 driver extension interface, and it updates the swrast
loader interface for a new putimage which can take a stride.
I've tested this with gnome-shell with a cogl hacked to reenable sub copies
for llvmpipe and the one piglit test.
I could probably split this patch up as well.
v2: pass a pipe_box, to reduce the entrypoints, as per Jose's review,
add to p_screen doc comments.

postprocessing filters. This only works for OSMesa with gallium

These provide an interface between the driver and the loader to allocate
color buffers through the DRIimage extension interface rather than through a
loader-specific extension (as is used by DRI2, for instance).
The driver uses the loader 'getBuffers' interface to allocate color buffers.
The loader uses the createNewScreen2, createNewDrawable, createNewContext,
getAPIMask and createContextAttribs APIS (mostly shared with DRI2).
This interface will work with the DRI3 loader, and should also work with GBM
and other loaders so that drivers need not be customized for each new loader
interface, as long as they provide this image interface.

As we move to megadrivers, we are unable to build multiple drivers with
the same public global symbol per driver (Think an X Server with an intel
and a nouveau driver, and the X Server implementing indirect for both --
we have to actually talk to the right driver). By slipping the
driDriverAPI vtable into the driver's extension list, we can replace the
usage of the global symbol with usage of the loader-dlsym()ed driver
information.

The previous interface relied on a static struct, which meant that the
driver didn't get a chance to edit the struct before the struct got used.
For megadrivers, I want struct specific to the driver being loaded.

Turns out already we have this nice mechanism for providing optional
things from the driver to the loader, and I was going to have to rename
the public global symbol to avoid conflicts when doing megadrivers.
While the former __driConfigOptions is technically loader interface, this
is the only loader that made use of that symbol. Continue paying
attention to it if we can't find the new option, to retain compatibility
with old drivers.

Mark __DRI_ATTRIB_FLOAT_MODE as deprecated, and introduce new flags to
__DRI_ATTRIB_RENDER_TYPE for float modes. Both signed float
(fbconfig_float) and unsigned (packed_float) are introduced. The old
attribute should be set for both float modes.
v2 (idr): Require that the render mode from the DRI attributes matches the
render mode of the config exactly. This is the behavior of the old code.

This update fixes the problem with duplicated typedefs for
GLclampf and GLclampd in the previous version.
It also changes some parameter types for glDebugMessageCallbackARB()
and glTransformFeedbackVaryingsEXT().
Note we should someday update the glapi-gen code so that it
understands void pointer parameters. Currently, the Python code
only understands "GLvoid *" but not "void *". Luckily, the
compilers don't seem to complain about mixing GLvoid and void.
In glapi_priv.h we always need the typedef for the GLclampx type
since GL_OES_fixed_point is now defined in glext.h but the
GLclampx type is not. GLclampx is not used by anything in glext.h
but we need it for GL ES dispatch.
This is a huge patch because the structure of the file has been
changed.

This enum corresponds to EGL_OPENGL_ES3_BIT_KHR.
Neither the GLX nor EGL layer use the enum yet.
I don't like the GLES bits. I'd prefer that all GLES APIs be exposed
through a single API bit, as is done in GLX_EXT_create_context_es_profile.
But, we need this GLES3 enum in order to do the plumbing necessary to
correctly support EGL_OPENGL_ES3_BIT_KHR as required by the
EGL_KHR_create_context spec.

GL/gl.h provides some definitions (GL_FALSE, GL_ONE, etc) that have
the same value as other gl headers but are represented differently
(0 vs 0x0 and 1 vs 0x1).
This causes compiler warnings about redefining such definitions when
including GL/gl.h with other gl headers.

As discussed with Kristian on #wayland. Pushes the decision of components into
the dri driver giving it greater freedom to allow t to implement YUV samplers
in hardware, and which mode to use.
This interface will also allow drivers like SVGA to implement YUV surfaces
without the need to sub-allocate and instead send 3 seperate buffers for each
channel, currently not implemented.
I have tested these changes on Gallium Svga. Scott tested them on both intel
and Gallium Radeon. Kristan and Pekka tested them on intel.

Unlike 1.x to 2.0, OpenGL ES 3.0 is backwards compatible with 2.0. Use the
same API flag for both. Applications that specifically want 3.0 will specify
this using the major / minor version attributes.

The additions in version 5 enables creating EGLImages for different planes
of a YUV buffer. createImageFromName is still used to create the containing
__DRIimage, and createSubImage can then be used no that __DRIimage to create
__DRIimages that correspond to the y, u, and v planes (__DRI_IMAGE_FORMAT_R8)
or the uv planes (__DRI_IMAGE_FORMAT_RG88) for formats such as NV12 where
the u and v components are interleaved. Packed formats such as YUYV etc
doesn't require any special treatment, we just sample those as a regular
ARGB texture.

Add the infrastructure required for this extension. There is no
xserver support and no driver support yet. Drivers can enable this be
advertising DRI2 version 4 and accepting the
__DRI_CTX_FLAG_ROBUST_BUFFER_ACCESS flag and the
__DRI_CTX_ATTRIB_RESET_STRATEGY attribute in create context.
Some additional Mesa infrastructure is needed before drivers can do
this. The GL_ARB_robustness spec, which all Mesa drivers already
advertise, requires:
"If the behavior is LOSE_CONTEXT_ON_RESET_ARB, a graphics reset
will result in the loss of all context state, requiring the
recreation of all associated objects."
It is necessary to land this infrastructure now so that the related
infrastructure can land in the xserver. The xserver has very long
release schedules, and the remaining Mesa parts should land long, long
before the next xserver merge window opens.

This new gbm entry point allows writing data into a gbm bo. The bo has
to be created with the GBM_BO_USE_WRITE flag, and it's only required to
work for GBM_BO_USE_CURSOR_64X64 bos.
The gbm API is designed to be the glue layer between EGL and KMS, but there
was never a mechanism initialize a buffer suitable for use with KMS
hw cursors. The hw cursor bo is typically not compatible with anything EGL
can render to, and thus there's no way to get data into such a bo.
gbm_bo_write() fills that gap while staying out of the efficient
cpu->gpu pixel transfer business.

GBM needs the buffer format in order to communicate with DRM and clients
for things like scanout.
So track the DRI format requested in the various back ends and use it to
return the DRI format back to GBM when requested. GBM will then map
this into the GBM surface type (which is in turn based on the DRM fb
format list).

The X server has limited throttle support on the server side,
but doing this in the client has some benefits:
1) X server throttling is per client. Client side throttling can be done
per drawable.
2) It's easier to control the throttling based on what client is run,
for example using "driconf".
3) X server throttling requires drm swap complete events.
So implement a dri2 throttling extension intended to be used by direct
rendering clients.

Add a new format token, __DRI_IMAGE_FORMAT_ABGR8888, to __DRI_IMAGE. It
maps to MESA_FORMAT_RGBA8888_REV in core mesa or
PIPE_FORMAT_R8G8B8A8_UNORM in gallium. The format is used by
translucent surfaces on Android.
All commonly used windows toolchains define wgl entrypoints in the windows
headers, and mesa_wgl.h not only is unnecessary but actually often stands
in the waydue to slight inconsistencies.
So remove it.

The wildcards were a mess:
- lots of files for non Linux platforms missing
- several files listed and archived twice
Using git-ls-files ensures things are not loss when making the tarballs.

glut: Remove GLUT source.
Most distros ship freeglut, and most people don't care one vs the other,
and it hasn't been really maintained.
So it is better to have Mesa GLUT be revisioned and built separately
from Mesa.

Add release function for texture_from_pixmap extension.
Some platform need to release texture image for texture_from_pixmap
extension, add this interface for those platforms.
__GLcontextModes is always only used as an implementation internal struct
at this point and we shouldn't install glcore.h anymore. Anything that
needs __GLcontextModes should just include the struct in its headers files
directly.
We can't expect to have a context when this is called, and we don't need one
so just require a __DRIscreen instead.

A number of other files had to be updated as well because const
qualifiers were added to the glMultiDrawArrays() function.
Also, GL_FIXED is now defined in glext.h.
The presence of this extension indicates to the DRI driver that the
loader will call invalidate in the __DRI2_FLUSH extension, whenever
the needs to query for new buffers. This means that the DRI driver
can drop the polling in glViewport().
__NOT_HAVE_DRM_H is a like a feature, defined by default on specific platforms
and allows to be defined externally as well.
__NOT_HAVE_DRM_H should only be used by xserver and mesa swrast_dri drivers
When a buffer invalidation event is received from the X server, the
"invalidate" hook of the DRI2 flush extension is executed: A generic
implementation (dri2InvalidateDrawable) is provided that just bumps
the "pStamp" sequence number in __DRIdrawableRec.
For old servers not supporting buffer invalidation events, the
invalidate hook will be called before flushing the fake front/back
buffer (that's typically once per frame -- not a lot worse than the
situation we were in before).
No effort has been made on preserving backwards compatibility with
version 2 of the flush extension, but I think it's acceptable because
AFAIK no released stack is making use of it.

This used to take GLX tokens, but the DRI interface can't depend on GLX
defines. We fix this by introducing DRI tokens that have the same value
as the GLX texture format tokens.
Fixup a few issues found through testing:
- update GLX names to match glproto
- register DRI2WireToEvent so it actually gets called

Sun cc 5.9 and later (__SUNPRO_C >= 0x590) support __attribute__ calls
for aligned, always_inline, noinline, pure, const, and malloc.
This commit includes updates to files that were regenerated by gl_XML.py
after adding the __SUNPRO_C checks to it

Support the new DRI2 protocol request, DRI2SwapBuffers, in both direct
and indirect rendering context. This request allows the display server
to optimize back->front swaps (e.g. through page flipping) and allows us
to more easily support other GLX features like swap interval and the OML
sync extension in DRI2.

There are two ways to silent this: put inline keyword, or reimplement the
hack as a #define. inline keyword actually varies slightly with compiler
so I've opted by the latter.
Commit d33c315d9e removed a few too many
typedefs. We need the typedefs in glext.h which are protected by #ifdef
GL_VERSION_1_2 but we can exclude the ones protected by
GL_VERSION_1_2_DEPRECATED.
Here is a couple of fixes for GNU/Hurd:
- dri_interface.h: no libdrm support either.
- configure.ac:
- GNU/Hurd is a GNU OS with _GNU_SOURCE and PTHREADS.
- GNU needs a couple of flags like other OSes

This requires upgrading the interface so that the argument to
glXBindTexImageEXT isn't just dropped on the floor. Note that this only
fixes the accelerated path on Intel, as Mesa's texture format support is
missing x8r8g8b8 support (right now, GL_RGB textures get uploaded as a8r8gb8,
but in this case we're not doing the upload so we can't really work around it
that way).
Fixes bugs with compositors trying to use shaders that use alpha channels, on
windows without a valid alpha channel. Bug #19910 and likely others as well.

_DLL is defined by MSVC when building against a DLL version of the CRT
library. It bears no relation to whether we are building a DLL or not. That
is, we can build a DLL against a static CRT, or a static lib against a
dynamicaly linked CRT. See more detail at

This gets DLL version of glut linking correctly both with MinGW and MSVC.
PS: GL/gl.h (and others) must be fixed too.
Trying to override windows headers is a recipe for disaster. Especially
when using with glew. Also the windows headers in recent MinGW are complete
enough that they don't need patching up.
GLEW does some defining/undefining of GLAPIENTRY making it unreliable. GLEW
should also be fixed, but removing the dependency on this symbol.
This also restores the ability for GLUT to be used with -fvisibility=hidden.
The downside of this is that ld warns of:
Warning: size of symbol `glutBitmapXXXXX' changed from 4 in glut_xxx.o to 16 in glut_xxxx.o
Due to the fonts being declared void * (*4 bytes), but defined as 16byte static
structure. I'll fix that in a later commit.
