Both Vulkan and OpenGL might be using glsl_types simultaneously or we
can also have multiple concurrent Vulkan instances using glsl_types.
Patch adds a one time init to track number of users and will release
types only when last user calls _glsl_type_singleton_decref().
This change fixes glsl_type memory leaks we have with anv driver.

We also need to modify the current size/align helpers to not blow up
when they encounter an explicitly laid out type. Previously we
considered using the size/align helpers mutually exclusive with standard
layouts but now we just assert that they match.

glsl_count_attribute_slots takes a parameter to specify whether the
type is being used as a vertex input because on GL double attributes
only take up one slot. Vulkan doesn’t make this distinction so this
patch renames the argument to is_gl_vertex_input in order to make it
more clear that it should always be false on Vulkan.

SPIR-V allows for matrix and array types to be decorated with explicit
byte stride decorations and matrix types to be decorated row- or
column-major. This commit adds support to glsl_type to encode this
information. Because this doesn't work nicely with std430 and std140
alignments, we add asserts to ensure that we don't use any of the std430
or std140 layout functions with explicitly laid out types.
In SPIR-V, the layout information for matrices is applied to the parent
struct member instead of to the matrix type itself. However, this is
gets rather clumsy when you're walking derefs trying to compute offsets
because, the moment you hit a matrix, you have to crawl back the deref
chain and find the struct. Instead, we take the same path here as we've
taken in spirv_to_nir and put the decorations on the matrix type itself.
This also subtly adds support for strided vector types. These don't
come up in SPIR-V directly but you can get one as the result of taking a
column from a row-major matrix or a row from a column-major matrix.

A couple spots were missed for handling of the new INT8/UINT8 base type.
Also de-duplicate get_base_type().. get_scalar_type() had nearly the
same switch statement, with the exception that anything with base_type
that was not scalar would return error_type. So just handle that one
special case in get_scalar_type().

The VECN() macro was taking advantage of a GCC specific feature that is
not available on lesser compilers, mostly for the purposes of avoiding a
macro that encoded a return statement.
But as suggested by Ian, we could just have the macro produce the entire
method body and avoid the need for this. So let's do that instead.

Refactor things so there isn't so much typing involved to add new
things.
Also drops a pointless conditional (out of bounds rows or columns
already returns error_type in all paths.. might as well drop it
rather than make the check more convoluted in the next patch by
adding the vec8/vec16 case).

When looking up known glsl_type instances in the various hash tables, we
end up leaking the key instances used for the lookup, as the glsl_type
constructor allocates memory on the global mem_ctx. This patch changes
glsl_type to manage its own memory, which fixes the leak and also allows
getting rid of the global mem_ctx and its mutex.

Adds new INT16, UINT16 and FLOAT16 base types.
The corresponding GL types for half floats were reused from the
AMD_gpu_shader_half_float extension. The int16 and uint16 types come from
NV_gpu_shader_5 extension.
This adds the builtins and the lexer support.
To avoid a bunch of warnings due to cases not handled in switch, the
new types have been added to a few places using same behavior as
their 32-bit counterparts, except for a few trivial cases where they are
already handled properly. Subsequent patches in this set will provide
correct 16-bit implementations when needed.

Declare glsl_type::sampled_type as glsl_base_type as we do for the
base_type field. And make base_type a bitfield to save a few bytes.
Update glsl_type constructor to take glsl_base_type instead of unsigned
and pass GLSL_TYPE_VOID instead of zero.
No Piglit regressions with llvmpipe.

Previously, if an unnamed and a named struct contained the same fields,
they were considered the same type during linking of globals.
The discussion around commit e018ea81bf ("glsl: Structures must have
same name to be considered same type.") doesn't seem to have considered
this thoroughly, and I see no evidence that an unnamed struct should
ever be considered to be the same type as a named struct.

By splitting glsl_type::mutex into two, we can avoid dropping the hash
mutex while creating the new type instance (e.g. struct/record,
interface).
This fixes a time-of-check/time-of-use race where two threads would
simultaneously attempt to create the same type but end up with different
instances of glsl_type.

Bindless samplers/images are 64-bit unsigned integers, which
means they consume two components as specified by
ARB_bindless_texture.
It looks like we are not wasting uniform storage by changing
this because default-block uniforms are not packed. So, if
we use N uint uniforms, they occupy N * 16 bytes in the
constant buffer. This is something that could be improved.
Though, count_uniform_size needs to be adjusted to not count
a sampler (or image) twice.
As a side effect, this will probably break the cache if you
have one because it will consider sampler/image types as
two components.

0 for samplers. This increases consistency and allows to clean
up some code a bit.
This will also help for ARB_bindless_texture.
No piglit regressions with RadeonSI.
This time the Intel CI system doesn't report any failures.

It looks inconsistent to return 1 for image types and 0 for
sampler types. Especially because component_slots() is mostly
used by values_for_type() which always returns 1 for samplers.
For bindless, this value will be bumped to 2 because the
ARB_bindless_texture states that bindless samplers/images
should consume two components.

Instead of using ralloc_autofree_context() to install an atexit()
handler to ralloc_free(glsl_type::mem_ctx), we can simply free them
from _mesa_glsl_release_types().
This is effectively the same, because _mesa_glsl_release_types() is
called from _mesa_destroy_shader_compiler(), which is called from Mesa's
one_time_fini() function, which Mesa installs as an atexit() handler.
The one advantage here is that it ensures the built-in functions are
destroyed before the types.
