Juan A. Suarez Romero 42fd7e3457 v3d: extend the list of formats supported by the TFU unit
TFU can convert from these new formats, but can not autogenerate
mipmaps from them.

Hence we need to set what is the purpose to know if the formats are
supported or not.

Juan A. Suarez Romero 8b3bc4e2fb v3d: split binning start from draw
Separate the binning part in the draw and make it public, so we can
invoke it later from a different part.

Neil Roberts e2f037e96c v3d: Split the creating of TEXTURE_SHADER_STATE into a helper function
This extracts the part of v3d_create_sampler_view that creates and fills
in the buffer for the TEXTURE_SHADER_STATE record into a helper
function. This will be used in a later patch to update the record when
the information changes.

v2: Also put the part that creates the buffer into the helper function
    so that it won’t override the contents of an inflight buffer.

Alejandro Piñeiro 583d7d3d8d v3d: moving v3d simulator to src/broadcom
So it could be used by both the OpenGL and the Vulkan driver.

In addition to the move, some small changes were needed to be made on
the API. For example, the simulator was receiving v3d_screen on
initialization, and that code setted v3d_screen->sim_file. Now it
returns the new sim_file created.

Eric Anholt 66e2d3b69f v3d: Add Compute Shader support
Now that the UAPI has landed, add the pipe_context function for
dispatching compute shaders.  This is the last major feature for GLES 3.1,
though it's not enabled quite yet.

Eric Anholt 2ebca177dc v3d: Use the TFU to do generatemipmap.
This is a separate, dedicated hardware unit for texture layout conversions
and mipmap generation.

Eric Anholt ee0549ff9a v3d: Add the V3D TFU submit interface to the simulator.
The TFU lets us format raster and SAND images into formats that can be
read by the texture engine, and do mipmap generation.

The UAPI comes from drm-next e69aa5f9b97f ("Merge tag

Eric Anholt f32ba7abd7 v3d: Remove the special path for simulaton of the submit ioctl.
Now that it doesn't need to find the struct v3d_bos, it can just take the
normal v3d_ioctl() path.
